| I have been building and servicing harpsichords and other early keyboard instruments in Ann Arbor, Michigan since 1974. In recent years I have investigated the early history of the piano and its inventor, Bartolomeo Cristofori, and I have made replicas of Cristofori's 1726 piano and of a piano by Gottfried Silbermann (1749).
